Lama tak jenguk

Pasal apa agak nya. Terlalu sibuk? Mungkin iye, sebab sibuk berfacebook dgn kawan2 sampai tak de masa nak post kt blog. Tapi rasanya sebab dah lama tak memasak. Tu yang resepi pun ntah ke mana, blog apatah lagi.

Pick of the day!

Hari ni kena saman RM100 kt melaka. Tak patut betul! Tak de sign pun yg kata parking tu utk bas saja. Hish geram betul! Ni sume pasal makanan la. Sibuk sgt nak beli wajik sirat brand warisan. Puas cari kat highway, dr rembau (lepas kenduri) sampai la akhirnya kena saman kt bandar melaka - yg tak plan pun nak pegi hari ni. What a story to remember... Bila dah kena saman, hilang terus selera nak makan. Kalau kena saman sbb tak pakai seatbelt, atau pakai hp, atau apa2 la, tak rasa bad mood cm ni. Ni sbb tak rasa bersalah. Tu la pasal...

Dlm perjalanan balik, terjumpa pula favourite pau kt hentian seremban. Terubat la sikit...

Apa pun thank u God, thank u ri, for whatever happened today. Things happen for a reason...., i know. Just don't know why, not yet...

Puding Koktail Kak Ita

Kak Ita, sama ngajar kat Ampang, tahun 93 dulu. Tahun 94, kalau tak silap, pegi ke rumah kak Ita, dan dia jamu puding koktail laici. Sedap la, sampai minta resepi..


1. 1 cawan tepung kastad
2. 6 cawan air
3. 2 sudu susu cair
4. 4 helai daun pandan
5. 1/2 cawan gula kasar
6. 1 biji kuning telur

Masuk semua dalam periuk, masak sampai mendidih, dgn api kecil. dan masuk ke dalam acuan. Acuan kecil kalau nak comel. Kalau tak, bubuh dalam acuan besar, dan lepas tu potong sj.

Untuk Sos
1. 2 cawan air
2. 2 cawan susu cair
3. 1 cawan gula kasar
4. 2 sudu tepung kastad - jgn lebih, nanti rasa macam berlendir
5. daun pandan.

Masak sehingga mendidih. Sangat manis, tapi bila dah bubuh ais dan puding yang atas tadi, manisnya berkurang. Untuk hidangan, masuk sos dalam bowl besar, campur puding dan buah-buah dalam tin, lebihkan laici, sebab puding laici - ambil air laici shj. Jgn lupa ais.

Where can we find the best ......

1. Pau? Definitely - the famous tanjung malim pau. But for those who simply can't swallow the food (like k ros), sorry, we have different taste buds. (It's a chinese restaurant, that's why)
2. Yong Tau Foo? Err, kg pandan.. Still waiting to be taken there, again, after so long. -- CANCEL! Dah rasa tadi.. dah tak sedap.
3. Murtabak? Just had a very delicious one recently, at the Garuda Restaurant, Jakarta. And the name is Murtabak Mesir.
4. Rendang? Kak Enon's, Rembau..
5. Lemang? The cook has passed away, my cousin, arwah abang amat. So far has not found a better one.
6. Kuzi? Hm, only had from one cook, and one cook only - Ana Halim's.
7. Cekodok pisang? Of course, here at home. LOL.
8. Nescafe? (drink). Mom's. As she always claims!

What else? Still thinking..
9. Rie suggested his fav restaurant, for negeri sembilan's dishes. Restoran Nelayan, seremban

Well, one could be longing for good food. But, when one is hungry, nothing else matters...
